About The Event
Sydney Horn Camp (SHC) 2025 is a two day, overnight tuition intensive for primary and high school-aged horn players, located at Camp Kedron, Ingleside NSW. Activities will cover a range of group rehearsals, intensive tutorials, camp activities, and a final performance for family and friends.

SHC25 | Full Camp (overnight)
Strongly recommended: This will ensure that your child is fully prepared for the Sunday concert, has ample time and opportunity to bond with their new horn-playing friends, and has the opportunity to attend all workshops, rehearsals, and tutorials. The camp is designed so that both days cover different materials that flow into each other so that students can build on their skills as they develop them throughout the camp.

SHC25 | Full Camp (days only)
This will cover the costs of two days of tuition with lunch and snacks between rehearsals on the day of attendance (i.e., no dinner on Saturday or breakfast on Sunday). Please be aware that this option will prevent your child from experiencing some of the biggest bonding experiences of the camp, including the night-time activity and a sleepover with their new horn-playing friends.

SHC25 | Saturday only
Not recommended: this will cover the costs of one day of tuition with lunch and snacks between rehearsals on the day of attendance (i.e., no dinner). Saturday will be jammed packed with hours of tuition and opportunities that will be a valuable experience for any students that are only able to attend the first day of SHC. However it is worth noting that students only attending on Saturday will miss out on the final concert and the Sunday workshops, performances, and tuition.

SHC25 | Sunday only
Not recommended: this will cover the costs of one day of tuition with lunch and snacks between rehearsals on the day of attendance (i.e., no breakfast). Students only attending SHC on Sunday should be prepared to compensate for missing a full day of tuition on Saturday, and commit to preparing repertoire in their own time. It is worth noting that this is not ideal for ensemble cohesion (especially considering they'll be performing that same night).
